Crown of Silence API: Facebook, Instagram and Threads

Crown of Silence operates the Crown of Silence API app and its Publisher and Stats tools to manage its own social accounts. Authorized account administrators use these tools to publish videos, images and text, check publishing results, and understand content performance and audience feedback. The app is an internal management tool; visitors do not need to connect a social account to read our website.

Depending on the connected platform and permissions, we process account and Page identifiers, names and usernames; access tokens and connection details; content, captions, media URLs, post identifiers and publication records; performance measures such as views, reach and engagement; and public comments and replies, including their text, timestamps, available author names or identifiers, profile links and engagement counts. We receive this information from authorized Meta APIs and from content supplied by our account administrators.

We use this information to publish and manage our content, reconcile upload status, report performance, understand audience responses, and improve our editorial work. Our publishing and analytics workflows do not require audience members to provide their social-account passwords.

Operational records and analytics are stored in our locally managed systems. Media selected for publication may also be hosted on our website so Meta can retrieve it, and published content is sent to the selected platform. Temporary hosting copies are normally removed after processing; failed uploads or cleanup can leave copies until the issue is resolved. Published posts remain subject to the relevant platform’s own controls and privacy policy.

When an operator uses AI-assisted writing or analytics, selected content and analytics context may be sent to the configured AI service. This can include public comment excerpts, author display names, related post links and performance figures. Available services include OpenAI, Cursor and xAI, depending on the tool and selected provider; a service may use its model providers to process the request. Hosting and AI processing may take place outside your country. Access tokens are connection credentials, not editorial content.

Publishing history, analytics and related reports are retained according to their operational purpose and our Data Retention section below. Some history is limited by record counts rather than a fixed number of days; there is no single automatic deletion period for all app data. Disconnecting an account stops future authorized access but does not by itself erase records already held by Crown of Silence.

To request access, correction or deletion of personal information held by these tools, follow our data deletion instructions or use our contact form. You do not need to have authorized the app to request deletion of personal information in a public comment we have collected. Deleting our copy does not delete your Meta account or the original post or comment on Meta.

Cookies

We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site behavioral tracking.
