These instructions explain how to request deletion of personal information held by Crown of Silence, including information processed through the Crown of Silence API app for Facebook, Instagram and Threads. They also apply to requests concerning your Crown of Silence website or Inner Circle account.
Request deletion
Open our contact form and begin your message with “Data deletion request.” Provide a reply email address and identify the information you want removed. For a social-platform request, include the platform name, your public username or profile link, and a link to the relevant post or comment if available. For a website account, identify your username or account email. You can request deletion even if you have never connected an account to our app.
Please provide only the information needed to locate your records. Do not send passwords, access tokens, payment details or copies of identity documents. If we need to verify that a request concerns your information, we will ask for proportionate verification through the contact details you provide.
What happens next
We review the request, locate the relevant records and respond through your provided email address. Where applicable, we delete or anonymize personal information in our operational records, stored comment data and associated reports, and address relevant copies held by service providers. If a legal requirement or another applicable exception prevents deletion of particular information, we will explain what is retained and why. Completion is confirmed after the request has been handled; submitting the form is not an automatic deletion.
The scope and timing depend on the records involved, verification needs and applicable law. You may use the same contact form to ask about the status of your request, referring to your original message. We do not promise an immediate or automatic purge of every backup or third-party copy.
Connected Meta accounts and original content
If you have authorized Crown of Silence API, you can also remove its access through the connected app or business integration settings of the relevant Meta service. Removing access and asking us to delete retained information are separate actions.
A request to Crown of Silence does not delete your Facebook, Instagram or Threads account, or automatically remove the original content held by Meta. Use the relevant platform’s own controls to delete your original posts or comments. Tell us if your request concerns a copy in our analytics so that we can also address that copy.
