How to use this matrix

This matrix is an efficient way to understand what each personality is and is not by comparing them back to back. By switching personality types on the same topic, you can instantly see the stark contrast in cognition—revealing how different types process the exact same reality.

The 16 Personality Types
What are MBTI personality types?

The 16 personality types were developed by Isabel Myers and Katharine Briggs, based on the theories of Carl Jung. Jung theorized that human behavior is predictable based on mental preferences for perception and judgment.

Starting in the 1940s, Myers and Briggs created this framework to help people understand their own strengths and appreciate differences in others. It remains one of the most widely used tools for self-discovery.
