The threads worth answering usually know what they are asking.
- Ask one real question, not five hidden inside each other.
- Keep the title plain enough that people know what they are entering.
- Give only the context that matters.
- Say what you have already noticed or tried.
- Stay with the thread once people answer.
If the question is vague, people end up guessing the problem instead of answering it.
