Every account starts with 1 Authority. From there, Authority grows through contribution, not self-description.
- Each upvote you receive anywhere in the forum adds 1 Authority.
- At 100 Authority, you can reply in The Arena and your Arena votes begin to count.
- At 1000 Authority, you can open a new Arena topic.
- In The Arena, your vote carries your current Authority as its weight.
- Founder and admin accounts are not limited by the normal Arena thresholds.
The point is simple: influence in the Arena should be earned inside the forum first.
