Can a person live meaningfully without sealing himself inside a final system? I do not think the answer is as simple as the open-minded want it to be.
A life cannot run on endless revision alone. At some point a person acts from a frame, whether he names it or not. The real question is whether that frame must harden into closure, or whether meaning can survive while a person remains revisable.
Does meaning require commitment to something stable, or can serious openness sustain it?
